The remote portion you will be able to program yourself using a set of instructions. The key portion must be brought to either a dealership or an automotive locksmith for cutting and programming.
You must have two cut keys that currently work for the vehicle ignition and drivers door to do remote portion programming yourself, otherwise a trip to a dealership or an automotive locksmith will be required for programming!
The remote can be programmed before cutting the key blade as long as you have two cut keys for the vehicle currently.
The key must be cut prior to the key portion programming attempt.
The remote key is a replacement item, not an original item, but will look and function just like an original one would.
